In honor of our country’s birthday, it is a privilege to have Harvey Kaye (find him on Twitter and on Amazon!) on my program to gives us an inside look at another great American, Thomas Paine.

Harvey J. Kaye is the Ben & Joyce Rosenberg Professor of Democracy and Justice Studies at the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay. He is also the author and editor of numerous works, including "The American Radical, Are We Good Citizens?" "Thomas Paine and the Promise of America", and "The Fight For The Four Freedoms: What Made FDR And The Greatest Generation Truly Great". Kaye teaches courses on American history, politics, and society.
